I just wanted to say a big thank you. Silence completed her course last week and was so excited to show me her certificates. We framed them so that she can display them and be proud of what she has achieved. This course has certainly empowered her and I could see week by week how she was incorporating what she learnt with Noah. I am returning to work in a months’ time and although I will miss my son, I do feel more confident that Noah will be well cared for. We are very blessed that we found Silence and am happy that I could help her achieve something. It really is a win-win for all of us and she is fast becoming a member of our family. Once again, thank you.
Patience has been doing really well. So far she has practiced the chicken pie and the chicken casserole. I told her on Wednesday morning that she could cook the casserole during the morning as I was going to be around to help her with the stove and oven if necessary. I was so chuffed when I got back from the school run to find it bubbling away in the oven and the whole kitchen smelt amazing!
Just wanted to let you know my nanny came home energized and very positive about the morning training. I am so pleased because this is exactly what I was hoping for.. She has been working for me for 3 years and I have observed her interest wane over the last year. Now that I have a new baby I was concerned that she does not fit our family anymore but I see our old nanny back – yay. Many thanks
Thank you so much for such a wonderful Kids Play workshop on the 16th. Lucia, came home elated and its been so beautiful to see how this has transformed how empowered she now feels to confidently and competently take on her role. She’s embraced it with open arms, preparing her thoughts and activities in advance of her hours with Odinn, always with her booklet nearby as reference. The change was literally immediate as felt by Odinn because since the workshop, he is SO excited for afternoons with Lucia and doesn’t so much as say a peep when I head back off to work for a couple hours in the afternoon. They have a ball together – I can even work IN the house now at the same time as them without Odinn hunting me down which is revolutionary! I love seeing the impact to our whole system – Lucia has received such a boost in esteem and her sense of being wholly competent and capable and Odinn feels safe and stimulated and is totally engaged. A huge success overall – thank you.
Firstly, thanks so much for an amazing Kids Workshop. Janet absolutely loved it, she arrived the next day full of inspiration and excitement. She said you are very energetic!
Lastly, because Janet enjoyed the Kids Workshop so much I would like to book some cooking lessons for her.
I’m sneaking this in there – can HIGHLY recommend the cooking courses. What a treat to come home to simple but super tasty home cooked meals! Ate a delicious cottage pie last night in fact.
Faith thoroughly enjoyed the course and commented on how good the teacher was at explaining the various scenarios and ensuring that everyone understood. It’s also been good for my husband and I as there are some things that intrinsically we know we must have in our house (for example a fire extinguisher) but are so sleep deprived that we haven’t thought to buy one. We also checked our first aid kit last night and Faith pointed out that the burn gel we have has expired (another thing you don’t always think to check when you’re juggling work, kids and life in general). Both Faith and I are so glad we signed her up for the course and she’s looking forward to next weeks module. Thanks again,
